Sensei Keinosuke Enoeda, 9th Dan JKA (1935 - 2003)

Nicknamed “the tiger” of Shotokan for his remarkable fighting spirit. Sensei Enoeda became the All-Japan kumite Champion in 1963 prior to coming to the UK and teaching for nearly 40 years.

Sensei Masahiko Tanaka, 8th Dan JKA

Tanaka Sensei won his first World Championship In 1973 at the age of 32, and continues to train and teach around the world. Tanaka Sensei is the Vice General Manager of the JKA Technical Division.

Sensei Yoshinobu Ohta Sensei, 6th Dan JKA

Sensei Ohta was Sensei Enoeda’s personal assistant for 21 years up until his death in 2003, when he became the chief instructor of JKA England.
